Editor As you awaken, please don’t be afraid of the HOLES
Whether they are in your
Head, heart, or hands
Receive them
Ask yourself…..
Why did it take holes for Jesus to save us
When we get them
We want to fill them
Before we feel them
Christ used His holes to authenticate Himself to Thomas when He rose from the dead
So, why do we try to hide ours?
Our holes authenticate us too
Yes, our holes remind us that we, too, got up after!
Now we must be careful not to fill the holes with regret, bitterness, or shame
That the hole may have brought with it.
We must FEEL the hole FIRST…..
When we don’t address what affects us, it will infect us
Who did it?
When did it happen?
How did I let it happen?
What did I get from it?
Once we feel it, then let God fill it
This way, we will be able to understand why it is working for our good, and how good it was for us.
Just like Jesus….
When He looks at His holes in His hands,
He doesn’t care about the who, how, what, or when
Just the why, and He reminds us
His holes were for us
And our holes are for someone else too
But we can’t be ready to help if we don’t authentically HEAL!
